Why a 37 Year Bond?
The reason to have a 37-year bond is that a facilities bond is not like a home: paying it off early means that residents living in Beavercreek now would carry the entire bond-burden. Paying it over the life of 37 years ensure that everyone who benefits - and will benefit in the future - pay their fair share, distributing costs more equitably.
